Mission
“To be a powerful force of good in the world by creating revolutionary tools for those serving humanity.”
Core Values
The very core of LiteracyPro Systems is our belief in, and adherence to, the company’s five core values:
These five core values guide us in everything we do—from the commitments we make and the execution of our business plan, to the way we treat each other on a daily basis. Our values foster a deep sense of responsibility to our customers, vendors, and investors as well as to fellow team members. We are driven by the satisfaction of excellence.
History
Our roots can be traced to the adult education and family literacy community, and its founding by a former literacy program director. Prior to its commercial release in 1995, and during every update and new release ever since, LiteracyPro has been quality assured and field-tested by agencies across the states, in conjunction with our cadre of world-class developers. We constantly work directly with our clients, ensuring that our software is intuitive and effective in tracking and monitoring unlimited amounts of program data. With over 2.2 million clients being tracked, and with more than 900 agencies in 27 states nationwide, we serve both individual community-based agencies and state departments of Education, Workforce Development, and Corrections. We’ve learned important lessons from local, state, and national experience about developing, deploying, and supporting best practices in government and private, non-government organizations, and their sub-grantees. In 2013 we recognized the groundswell of the community collaborative impact movement was missing a crucial element: inter-agency communications support. We set out to design a solution that would serve the needs of those on the front lines – job counselors, case workers, educators, and the administrators in local agencies – to help serve their clients / job seekers / customers / students in the most efficient ways possible. Committed to the highest levels of ethics, we keep the main thing the main thing – the sanctity of the client’s highly personal data, employing the best standards and technologies for privacy and security. Our team is comprised of professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including public policy, engineering, computer science, cognitive psychology, and education. Their collective knowledge, focused on end-user requirements, is one of the many reasons LiteracyPro Systems is the country’s leading developer of data management applications for the public and non-profit sector.
